WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR OFFICE?
• I am running for office to be a positive force for education in Tolland. Education is the key contributor of American prosperity in the global marketplace. In Tolland, we need to ensure that all students are given the superior tools and curriculum to succeed in our new economic reality. However, we need to be prudent in how we manage our funds and deliver services.
• I would bring my 4 years of experience on the Board to help continue our successful stewardship of Tolland’s education system. I will also leverage my 25 years of Information Technology knowledge in working with the administration on a strategic technology plan that will benefit both the public schools and the citizens of Tolland. In addition, I would bring my experience working with non-profit organizations overseeing such activities as policies and procedures, budgets, training and strategic planning.
• I will be an advocate for a strong, sustainable education system which will respond to the needs of both the students and taxpayers of Tolland.
