Two thousand and eighty-five*.  That’s how many hours your elected Republican officials volunteered in Tolland last year.  Between meetings of the Town Council, Board of Education and Planning and Zoning Commission, special committee meetings, volunteering in the schools and other town civic groups, this group of ten citizens gave over two thousand hours of their time to make Tolland a better place to live for all of us.

In addition to their regular responsibilities as elected officials, they rolled up their sleeves and gave all they could to help out.  2,085 sounds like a big number, and it is – but when we all work together and do our part the work becomes easier.

You don’t have to commit to working over 2000 hours to make a difference.  If you’d like to join the Tolland Republicans and be a part of change in our town, we invite you to join us by:

  • Talk to us about running for a seat on Town Council, Board of Education, the Planning & Zoning Commission, or the Zoning Board of Appeals
*Self-reported estimates of all volunteer hours (not including TRTC activities).
